I was born to a pair of very loving parents in a small town in the north-west of Germany. My mother was a professional photographer at the time and my father was a pilot and flying instructor. I am immensely grateful that I grew up in a very close and loving family which included wonderful grand parents. My schooling was also to take place in and around the town where I was born.

Even as a little girl I possessed an unwavering knowledge of how I wanted my dresses and costumes to look, much to the vexation of my mother. I would spend much of my spare time making up clothing articles for some of my dolls and when I took these dolls to school I remember that some of the other girls in my class would ask me to make costumes for their dolls too. This slowly progressed to the point where I was making many of my own clothes and I should say that it was probably at this point that my love of fashion and design of ladies wear ceased to be a mere hobby.

At that young age my ideas of a future career would float between being a fashion designer, dancer, author and painter! Although my parents acknowledged my talents for fashion design they both felt that I should be looking towards a more solid career and so they arranged for me to study investment and business banking. As it happens, I did work with a very large German bank upon leaving school and I think that this gave me the underlying foundations needed to run ones own business. My adoration for fashion kept me a very willing prisoner and so I would work part-time as a fashion model for either photographic work or on the catwalk whilst designing and making my own dresses with great gusto! Whilst working with the bank I soon felt the uncontrollable desire to break free and start up my own fashion business and so together with another young lady I opened my first business. Sadly, I had to part company with my partner as it became obvious that she and I had different ideas about the quality we both wanted to offer in our production. She was leaning more towards the pret - a - porte and I wanted to work with exclusive couture fashion.

Dreams don’t always remain foam on the sea.

My dreams came true when I opened my own atelier. For me everything in life should be full of enjoyment, pleasure and true happiness and this very much includes my work. A tidy and stylish but lively atmosphere inspires my fantasy to take flight. I decorated my atelier just like a home, very personally and full of feeling. To better my technical drawing ability for fashion designing I underwent a comprehensive learning curve whilst studying various forms of of art with an art academy. This was a wonderful opportunity for me to visit many European cities to learn the various painting styles and techniques and these cities also included Paris. It was not long before I was travelling to the French capital for the Haute Couture shows and this helped me greatly in keeping my finger on the pulse of the trends that were up and coming and also gave me the chance to speak to my fashion industry colleagues.

Today I am truly blessed with wonderful clients from across the globe but have always managed to keep my atelier reasonably small and highly exclusive. If you would like to know more about my work I would love to hear from you! Please contact me through the numbers or address provided on the contact page. I look very much forward to hearing from you and thank you for visiting my website!
